Who we are
FundsSchool is an education app published by FundsApp Wealth Technologies Private Limited (formerly Strootaay Wealth Technologies Private Limited), Chennai, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the FundsSchool mobile apps and https://fundsschool.com.
What we collect
Account details you type in: name, email address and a password (stored only as a one-way hash). Distributors may add a mobile number, city, ARN and EUIN; these are optional and are used only to personalise the app.
Learning activity created by using the app: chapters read, quick-check and test scores, flashcard progress, streaks, badges, certificates, reminders you set and questions you send to the mentor box.
Device information needed to run the app, such as the operating system version and app version. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, PAN, bank or KYC documents, and we do not read any other app.
Where it is stored
In this version of FundsSchool, your account and all learning activity are stored on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly send it (for example a question to the mentor box or an email to us). If a later version adds cloud sync, we will update this policy and ask for your consent in the app first.
How we use it
To run the app: keep you signed in, remember your progress, build your study plan, unlock mocks and certificates, and show your streak and widgets.
To support you: answer questions you send and respond to grievances.
We do not sell personal data, do not show third-party advertising, and do not use advertising trackers.
Notifications
Reminders (daily study nudge, streak at risk, exam countdown) are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are off until you turn them on in Profile → Reminders, and you can turn them off at any time there or in your phone settings.
Sharing
Certificates and invite links are shared only when you tap Share. We disclose personal data only when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of users.
Your choices
Edit your details in Profile. Delete your account and all progress from the device with Profile → Delete account; this is immediate and cannot be undone. Export or questions about your data: write to school@fundsapp.com.
Children
FundsSchool is intended for adults preparing for NISM examinations or learning about mutual funds. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
